Everyone is Welcome

Our school is a special place where everyone who comes through our doors is welcomed into our calm and happy school community, and is valued and is treated as a unique individual.

At St Joseph’s we embrace and welcome children of all faiths into our caring and inclusive family community. With close relationships between staff, children and families, we believe that diversity enriches our learning environment and fosters a sense of understanding and acceptance.

At our school, we are all about creating a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels safe and cared for. We focus on teaching values that align with our Catholic faith, like kindness, respect, and helping others. We aim to nurture your child's confidence and courage as they learn and grow with us. We believe in encouraging them to be themselves, to share their thoughts and feelings openly, and to be curious about the world around them. Through meaningful conversations and activities, we aim to teach them the importance of understanding and accepting others, no matter our differences.

We have high expectations of ourselves and of the children in our care. Our school community is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that enables our children to achieve their full potential academically and personally. Our goal is to ensure that each individual has the skills and knowledge to succeed in life and to become a lifelong learner.

We welcome applications from families of all faiths and no faith. If you are interested in learning more about our amazing school, please book an appointment with me. Let’s explore the school together!

All are welcome; all belong.

Parents particularly appreciate that your school is supportive and inclusive of the large and growing number of pupils who speak English as an additional language.
